Application to build three houses on the Pure Gym car park behind Marks & Spencer. HGY/2025/3457.

Several people have raised objections to this proposal. We have supported the objectors and said their concerns should be addressed. We also asked the Council to get the conservation officer’s opinion on the design.

In the past, there were bigger plans for this site. The current proposal would not mean losing the Pure Gym.

Application for a large rear extension in Lansdowne Road

As we mentioned in December, we have supported those objecting to the scheme. A revised application has now been submitted.

PLANNING POLICY – CONSULTATION ON THE DRAFT HARINGEY LOCAL PLAN

The consultation closed on 19 December. The Council is now reviewing the comments. Later this year, the Council will prepare and consult on a Proposed Submission Local Plan. After that, the plan and any feedback will go to an independent Planning Inspector for review before the Council makes a final decision. There are still several months to go.
