Planning Report May 2026
Since our last report in May, there have been 53 applications in the wards that the Association is concerned with, with two objections lodged. The number of applications is approximately two-thirds of those last reported on. The majority of the applications remain small, uncontested domestic projects.
Application Updates
13 Bedford Road
No change since the last report. A decision was reportedly made to grant consent a year ago, but no decision has been posted. It is believed this is pending legal agreements being entered into.
25 Coniston Road
The refusal of an application for front garden parking and a dropped kerb remains in the appeal process.
New Matters
20 Crescent Road
An application for rear outside storage buildings has attracted objections. The application does not provide sufficient detail of the project or its impact, and the Association has consequently objected, stating that no positive decision should be made based on the available information.
30 Church Crescent
An application for a dropped kerb and front garden parking has been objected to.
