7/23 New Tree Map for Haringey

A new online map showing trees planted in Haringey over the last year has been launched on the council’s tree web pages.

The interactive map highlights the type and location of each new tree planted in the borough’s green spaces and streets in 2022/23.

The website allows visitors to zoom in to discover the variety of tree planted in their neighbourhood.  Clicking on the tree symbol reveals if it was one of 125 funded by the community.  The website also covers tree protection, planting and tree emergencies and problems. The tree planting section outlines how residents can get involved by sponsoring a tree through Haringey’s partnership with Trees for Streets.

In 2022-2023, the council planted 1,500 trees including a total of 457 in the borough’s streets.
