Haringey celebrates Black history and heritage

Haringey has launched a year-long celebration of Black history and heritage in the borough.

Black History Haringey 365 is the council’s annual programme to highlight the history of Black communities in Haringey and promote Black history education.

Beginning in October and running throughout the next 12 months, Black History Haringey 365 includes adult art events, children’s crafts, film screenings, local history walks, literary events, music and performances.
