Recycling Small Electrical Appliances

Haringey Council has provided WEEE banks where you can recycle small electrical items, either broken or no longer wanted. As long as they fit in the bin and are between 28cm (11 inches) by 23cms (9 inches) they will be taken. Items include hairdryers, electrical chargers, kettles, shavers, VCRs, irons, phones, radios and CD players, remote controls, small electrical DIY tools.

Our local WEEE bank is sited at:
Colney Hatch Lane
N10 1QE (near the traffic lights)

**Larger items like washing machines and fridges must not be left by the side of the bank but taken to one of the Recycling Centres in High Street Hornsey or Park View Road. These sites are listed on the Haringey Council website.
