3/23 Major Works Muswell Hill – Alexandra Park Way

Road improvements works will take place at the west entrance to the Park and Palace, at the junction between Alexandra Palace Way, Muswell Hill and Priory Road, from 27 March until 17 July.

The work  is being carried out by Haringey Council and will be completed in five phases, each with differing degrees of impact on road users.

PHASE 1: 27 March – 11 April

  • Complete closure.
  • No access or exit via the west/Muswell Hill entrance on Alexandra Palace Way
  • Access by road to Alexandra Palace, Garden Centre etc will be via the east entrance (Bedford Road) only
  • The W3 bus will be on diversion
  • Dates of each phase of work could be subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

PHASE 2: 11 April – 8 May

  • No access by road via the west entrance, but exit is available.
  • The W3 bus will running westbound along Alexandra Palace Way (routes towards Finsbury Park), but there is no eastbound service along at Alexandra Palace Way (towards Wood Green)
  • Dates of each phase of work could be subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

PHASE 3: 8 May – 22 May

  • No right turn from Priory Rd onto Alexandra Palace Way. All other routes are operating as normal.
  • The W3 bus will running westbound along Alexandra Palace Way (routes towards Finsbury Park), but there is no eastbound service along at Alexandra Palace Way (towards Wood Green)
  • Dates of each phase of work could be subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

PHASE 4: 22 May – 12 June

  • No right turn up Muswell hill from the west side of Alexandra Palace Way
  • Buses will be running as normal
  • Dates of each phase of work could be subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

PHASE 5: 12 June – 17 July

  • There is no left turn from Muswell Hill into Alexandra Palace Way. There is no left turn leaving Alexandra Palace Way onto Priory Road
  • The W3 bus will be running eastbound along Alexandra Palace Way (routes towards Wood), but there is no westbound service along at Alexandra Palace Way (towards Finsbury Park)
