MHFGA holds regular meetings at North Bank, Pages Lane, opposite Pages Hill, where you will hear local speakers discuss both topical local issues and interesting subjects relating to the local area. These Meetings are also open to Non Members.
North Bank Travel information: There are a few parking spaces for those most in need. The 234 bus passes the door and there are stops nearby in Colney Hatch Lane for the 134 and 43 buses and on Alexandra Park Road for the 102 and 299 buses.

Emma Williamson, Haringey Council
Emma will talk on the planning process in general and, in particular,
how to object effectively to planning applications both in
conservation areas and otherwise. She will also cover what steps
can be taken in the event of consent being granted or refused, and
the measures available in the event of a breach of planning
Emma is currently the Assistant Director of Planning at Haringey
Council. Before this she worked at the GLA and CLG and for a
organisation in Southwark which assisted the local community in
getting involved in the planning process. Emma has more than 20
years experience of working in planning and is a longstanding
member of the RTPI. She is also a non-practicing Barrister.
The Council are beginning a programme of sessions to assist
community groups in getting involved in the planning process, how
to best make representations on planning applications and how to
make the most of speaking at planning committee.
The MHFGA AGM will take place at 7.30pm on
Wednesday 17th May at the Clissold Arms. A buffet
with tea/coffee will be served after the meeting.
